What is SupplyPilot?
SupplyPilot is a full-service China sourcing agency headquartered in Ningbo. We do the hard work for you — finding the right factory, negotiating the best price, managing production and quality control, and shipping to your door. You tell us what you need; we handle everything else.
Where are you located?
We're based in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province — one of China's largest manufacturing and port cities. Our team regularly visits factories across Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Guangdong.
What makes you different from other sourcing agents?
Three things: (1) We have a network of 100,000+ exhibition-verified factories that we source from on your behalf. (2) We visit every factory in person — you never have to. (3) We offer 100% transparent pricing with full cost transparency. We're not a directory — we're your sourcing team in China.
Sourcing Process
How does the sourcing process work?
Step 1: You tell us what you need (product description, specs, quantity). Step 2: We search our manufacturer database and shortlist 3-5 qualified factories. Step 3: We negotiate prices and manage samples. Step 4: We oversee production, QC, and shipping.
How long does sourcing take?
Initial supplier matching takes 3-5 business days. Samples typically take 7-15 days. Production time varies by product — from 15 days for simple items to 45+ days for complex products. We provide a detailed timeline for every project.
Can you source any product?
We specialize in manufactured goods from China, including small home appliances, hardware, fasteners, machinery, electronics, auto parts, textiles, and consumer products. If it's made in China, we can likely source it.
What's the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQs vary by factory and product. Our minimum project value is $1,000. We actively negotiate lower MOQs on your behalf — many factories are willing to reduce MOQs for new customers.
Quality & Trust
How do you verify factories?
We do the factory vetting so you don't have to. Our verification includes: (1) Exhibition records from major trade shows (Canton Fair, CIHS, etc.), (2) Chinese business registry checks, (3) On-site factory visits by our Ningbo-based team, (4) Production capacity and quality system audits. You receive our recommendations — no need to contact factories yourself.
Do you offer quality control inspections?
Yes. Our Starter plan includes photo-based QC reports. Our Pro plan includes on-site inspections by our team — we check materials, workmanship, dimensions, packaging, and labeling before shipment.
What if the products don't meet specifications?
We stand behind our work. If products don't match agreed specifications and the issue can't be resolved with the factory, we work with you to find a solution. We also help with factory claims and replacements.
Shipping & Logistics
What shipping methods do you offer?
We handle sea freight (FCL & LCL), air freight, express shipping (DHL/FedEx/UPS), and rail freight to Europe. We also offer Amazon FBA prep, labeling, and direct shipment to Amazon warehouses.
Do you handle customs clearance?
We assist with export customs clearance from China. For import customs in your country, we provide all necessary documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, certificates). We can recommend customs brokers in major markets.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on volume, weight, destination, and method. Sea freight starts from $1,500/container (FCL) or $50/cbm (LCL). Air freight starts from $4.5/kg. We provide exact quotes for every shipment.
Payment & Pricing
How much do you charge?
Our service fee is 3-5% of the order value, depending on the plan (Starter or Pro). There are no hidden fees. Shipping, factory costs, and inspection fees are quoted separately and transparently.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer (T/T), PayPal, and Western Union. For orders over $10,000, we offer flexible payment terms: 30% deposit to start production, 70% before shipping.
Are there any hidden fees?
Absolutely not. Our pricing is 100% transparent. The service fee percentage is agreed upfront, and all other costs (samples, shipping, inspections) are quoted before you commit.
